Life is an experience that you consciously get to choose the focus of at every single moment. At any point in time, we have the ultimate authority to focus our attention on anything around us, whether its the phone screen, the road while you're driving, or pretty much anything you can conceive inside your own mind. My mission in yoga is to direct your attention to the magical space that is you and the moment you are currently living in through your body. By turning attention to your ever present breath, the burning sensation in your thighs in chair pose, or the release of a deep stretch after a tough flow, you are actively deciding where your attention will go in that moment. A collection of those concentrated moments has led many of my students to feel absolutely wonderful afterwards.
